Cyance specialises in B2B intent data, helping you to not only find the right customers, but to know exactly when is the right time to target them.
The Challenge
Cyance had an outdated logo that they felt no connection with. They needed to refresh the brand to better reflect their values, showing customers that they were a modern and innovative brand who are experts in their field.
In addition to this they needed to find engaging ways to explain in a simple way the different offerings that they have.
This new brand would then need to be applied across all touchpoints to create a consistent feel.

After the discovery phase it became clear that a more modern brand is what Cyance were after. So the new look logo had a clean modern sans serif typeface, combined with an icon that reflected their ability to increase sales.
The colour palette selected is bright and bold, Cyance are confident in their expertise and ability to help and this new colour palette exudes confidence.

Creating a flexible icon
By turning the ‘A’ into an arrow we created an icon that could be used across the brand. And by adding motion to the mix it solidified Cyance’s ability to drive sales forward.
The icon was also designed to be split into its separate parts to represent different parts of the business.
This also created a brand asset that could be used to create background patterns, to lead customers in a certain direction on the website, and as a narrative tool in animations.
Cyance’s new unique illustration style
I already knew that Cyance would need a series of animated explainers to dive deeper into the tools they provided. Because of the unique nature of Cyance’s offering it felt natural that they should have an illustration style that was entirely unique to them.
Continuing the bold and bright feel of the colour palette I gave them a style with plenty of character, and the vector style maintained the clean modern look of the logo.
Once we had agreed together the core elements of the brand it was time to roll them out across the different touchpoints, as well as creating in-depth guidelines so that Cyance could be confident in how to put their new brand to use.
I created a full website design, suite of banners, several ebooks as well as whitepapers and social posts.
